He has always been fascinated in how the brain works especially in regards to anxiety and depression, which he himself has suffered from in the past.

The song is a powerful track that screams volumes but Corby has remained tight-lipped on revealing the true meaning behind it allowing people to take guesses at their own interpretation. It was there that he signed to indie label Communion which was owned by Ben Lovett, a member of famous folk band Mumford and Sons. Corby has even supported the band on tour. In early Corby and his partner had their first child, Hugh. Telluric was a very busy record, so it was nice to simplify.

Corby found this to be a pressuring experience. Obviously having kids puts you under a lot of pressure. I can barely remember my old self to be honest.

It's a venture Matt's entering into with longtime producer Alex Henriksson and Warner Music Australia, and it's one that the multi-talented musician and producer is keen to explore.

Along with working consistently on his own material, Matt's also been collaborating with a number of Australian names recently - hello Tash Sultana, Tia Gostelow, Jarryd James - so undoubtedly, being at the helm of his own label will further extend his scope for collaborations.

While roster details or new signings haven't been revealed yet, both Matt and Alex indicate that Rainbow Valley will be home to both Australian and international artists, from a range of different musical backgrounds and experience.
